Customer Service Associate

PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTION

Ensuring Customers receive the high quality of personal Customer Service that has been established by Asher’s Chocolate Co.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Service hours from 8:30 am to 5: 00pm

· Required to possess a professional phone manner and demonstrate a sense of importance on the timeliness and quality of their work.

· Must be reliable.

· Must bring a positive attitude (can do and what can I do to help) to their job when interacting with Customers and Asher’s team members.

· Enter, confirm, and follow up on sales orders placed in a timely manner.

· Partner with the Customer Service Manager (CSM) to ensure orders are processed/shipped within the appropriate lead time.

· Must develop thorough knowledge of Asher's products, processes, and applications (Salesforce, Customer Portal, Ross).

· Perform limited Salesforce Account maintenance.

· Respond to customer requests regarding product information or special requests.

· Process customer complaints for credit or return.

· Perform specific tasks as requested and required by Asher’s Management team. This may include cross training and helping in other departments. Especially in busy times.

· Must be able to work in a safe, and efficient manner always.

Qualifications:

Ability to read, write, and communicate English

Education:

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.

Experience:

1-3 years related experience and /or training. Equivalent combination or education and experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

· Must possess the knowledge and understanding to multitask, problem solve, and work independently.

· Possess professional verbal and written communication skills.

· Must be efficient in email and internet applications.

· Must be skilled in Microsoft Office.

Work Environment/ Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time. Approximately 100% of work is performed in an office environment which is climate controlled.

Limited Trade Show Attendance
