Senior .Net Integration Developer

THE ROLE:

We are looking for a Senior .Net Integration Developer to join our client in a consulting capacity based out of Houston TX. As a Senior Developer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing scalable solutions for our Midstream Oil & Gas client. You will be accountable for understanding complex requirements and translating them into robust technical specifications. Your primary focus will be to develop the application that integrates with existing systems while ensuring adherence to the client’s standards and best practices.

YOU WILL

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand complex requirements and develop technical solutions that meet business objectives.
  
• Work closely with the team to design scalable and robust applications for the Midstream Oil & Gas industry.
  
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  
• Perform system analysis, evaluate alternatives, and make recommendations for technology and architecture selection.
  
• Ensure seamless integration between new and existing applications while maintaining data integrity and security.
  
• Conduct code reviews and enforce adherence to SOLID principles and coding standards.
  
• Communicate effectively with key stakeholders to gather requirements, provide progress updates, and manage expectations.
  
• Size the effort and resources required for the project and develop staffing plans accordingly.
  
• Build relationships with key business stakeholders.
  

YOU HAVE

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  
• Expertise experience as a Senior .Net Integration Developer.
  
• Should be able to understand and help to develop the architecture.
  
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, web application development, and interface design.
  
• Familiarity with SOLID principles and other software design patterns.
  
• Experience with Kafka would be a plus.
  
• Proficiency in .NET for back-end development.
  
• Experience in API design and development.
  
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with technical effectively and non-technical stakeholders.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  
• Oil & Gas industry with midstream, its processes, and technology solutions is a nice to have.
  
• Proficiency in managing application backlog using tools like ADO TFS or Jira.
  
• Experience working in an Agile organization using Scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), or other scaling models.
  
• Must be able to work onsite at the client's office location in a hybrid capacity.
