Daycare Facility Open/Closer

Summary

We are looking for a detailed orientated individual to assist with opening and closing childcare facilities daily. Applicant must have experience working in a childcare environment and have a bubbly personality.

7:00 AM to 11:45 AM opener

2:50 PM to 5:50 PM Closer

Both shifts are available together as a 6 hour shift or individually as a 3 hour shift.

Duties

Primary Responsibilities

Opening Duties

• Ensure that classrooms are setup with the necessary materials and or equipment for operations
• Restock bathrooms and kitchen area with needed materials
• Perform check-in operations
• Maintain the group and ensure safety of the child
• Assist with facilitating morning activities
• Prepare the appropriate snacks and meals, while maintaining cleanliness
• Relieve teacher/assistant for scheduled breaks

Closing Duties

• Clean bathrooms and kitchen areas
• Perform check-out operations
• Disinfect toys and classroom furniture fixtures
• Properly store cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Relieve teacher/assistant for scheduled breaks
• Secure facility
• Conduct cleaning operations in classrooms or common areas (sweep, mop, vacuum, trash)

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong interpersonal and communication skill
• Must have 1 years of previous experience working with preschool children in a group setting
• Background check is required

Nice To Haves

Looking for someone that can commit daily to the approximate shift times 6:50am-9:50am return 2:50pm-5:50pm
***Shifts can be a split or non-split shifts.
