Job Summary:

We're looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to work within our team model, establishing open communications, support, and accountability among workers and consumers. The RN will provide medication audits to programs and nursing triage to children and adolescents receiving behavioral health treatment in short and long-term community-based residential treatment programs. This role will also be part of staff training & education, and client education groups, and will be willing to collaborate with providers for the facilitation of medication administration, obtaining doctor’s orders, and coordinating treatment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Audit program medications; discuss errors with administration; help administration correct errors as appropriate.
  • Provide medication training to staff, both first-time training and ongoing.
  • Learn Gándara Medication policy and provide staff training.
  • Provide triage to ill children/adolescents as needed.
  • Collaborate with Doctor’s offices on medical treatment for youth.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Audit program medications; discuss errors with administration; help administration correct errors as appropriate.
