NAU Urology Specialists' pelvic floor urology rehabilitation services are designed to help patients recover from trauma, injury or illness. Our goal is to help people regain their independence and improve their lives.  We offer pelvic floor physical therapy services in our clinic at Round Rock, North Austin and South Austin locations.  We hope to add PFPT services at our Cedar Park and Dripping Springs locations in the future.  NAU Urology Specialists offer a holistic approach to urology, often starting with pelvic floor physical therapy. 


Position Overview


We are seeking a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist to join our team!  This is a position that we'll fit around the new PT team member for either full-time or part-time.  The shifts are Monday - Friday in an outpatient setting and through all of our locations in Round Rock, North Austin and South Austin.  Travel within the city is required and there will be a set schedule.  


Responsibilities

    • Develops treatment plans, sets goals, re-assesses and adjusts as necessary
    • Adapts conventional physical therapy techniques to meet the needs of patients
    • Writes discharge summaries
    • Maintains accurate documentation
    • Communicates orally and in writing with Providers, Medical Assistants and other personnel and agencies concerned with patient care
    • Conducts or participates in training medical and nursing personnel in physical therapy techniques and objectives
    • Performs other related duties, as assigned


Qualifications

    • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required, Master's Degree preferred
    • Must be certified as a Physical Therapist in the State of Texas
    • Current American Heart Association (AHA) approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire
    • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an outpatient setting treating  adult and geriatric populations 
    • Experience treating Pelvic Floor Dysfunction and Herman and Wallace courses highly desired
