Forklift/Tug Driver

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Identifies and transports requested materials to and from various locations including machinery, loading docks, railroad cars, trucks, and storage areas
• Obtains production schedules and/or shipping orders
• Identifies, verifies, and transports requested raw materials, equipment, and processing materials
• Understands machine loading capacities and loading schedules to ensure prompt delivery of required items
• Uses protective materials and strapping equipment to protect and secure loads
• Removes strapping and wrapping from loads after delivery is complete
• Disposes waste material in designated containers and/or areas
• Reports all material and transportation problems to supervisor
• Manages and piles drums, skids, pallets, and other supplies in specified areas
• Services equipment while reporting mechanical or electrical difficulties to supervisor
• Scans product for shipment or receipt purposes
• Pushes/pulls racks by hand as needed
• Performs other duties as required

Preferred Experience:

• 1 Year Forklift Operator Experience
• 1 Year Warehouse Experience

Physical Demands:

• Required to Stand, Walk, Sit, Talk, and Hear
• Plant is Not Climate-Controlled
• May be Required to Lift and/or Move up to 50 Pounds Daily
