Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Forklift Operator/ Yard laborer in partnership with a premier employer within the Lumber Industry in Owego, NY.
Pay: $20 - $25 per hour
Shift: Monday – Friday 6am – 4:30pm
Job responsibilities will include:
- Loading and Unloading tractor trailers (Skid Steer / Forklift)
- Used fork lift to to transport materials off of line.
- Moving material around the lumber yard
- Material separation and pulling lumber from the lines
- Stack lumber on kiln carts from a conveyor
Knowledge, Education and Skills Required:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Stand 8+ hours a day
- Lift 50 pounds frequently
- Excavator operations experience is not required, but a plus.
- Must be able to work in warm temperatures during the summer and 50–60-degree weather during the winter
