Semi Truck Driver

As an Ecosouth Semi Truck Driver, you will have the chance to provide reliable, friendly, and consistent service for our customers who rely on us for essential service. Your impact will not only be seen but it will also be felt. Your job helps to keep streets, neighborhoods, and communities safe and clean.

We are looking to hire EXPERIENCED semi-truck drivers. The driver will transport construction debris in a 100yd walking floor/ tipper trailer from local transfer stations in Sarasota & Manatee counties to a landfill in Arcadia to dump the debris (~3-4 hr round trip).

$22 - $25 hourly

• Safely drive a semi-truck to transport construction debris from local transfer stations in Sarasota & Manatee counties to a landfill in Arcadia
• Collaborate with Dispatch, Supervisor, and driver team to efficiently service customers on various routes and schedules
• Load and unload waste materials at designated facilities
• Conduct thorough pre-and post-trip inspections on the vehicle to ensure proper functionality and promptly address any maintenance issues
• Adhere to all safety protocols and promptly report any safety concerns to leadership

• Must possess a valid CDL class A license with at least 2 years of driving experience
• Proficient in reading maps and utilizing navigational devices
• Willingness to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and some holidays
• Strong time management skills to efficiently and safely complete assigned routes
• Ability to adapt to changes quickly
• Excellent problem-solving abilities to handle unexpected situations
• Team player mentality, fostering respectful interactions and collaboration with colleagues
