1st Shift – Quality Control/Machine Operator. - Piedmont, SC
Starting Hourly Rate: $16.00
M-F 7 AM-3:30 PM
The Quality Control / Machine Operator inspects parts, assemblies and finished products in accordance with contract specifications and/or legal requirements.
Essential Functions of the Position:- Inspect and properly load parts into containers for storage and shipment.
- Follow company inspection guidelines to conduct critical routine and non-routine visual, dimensional, mechanical, and functional inspections on a variety of components, assemblies, equipment, systems, supplies, and materials.
- Sample and test incoming components and raw materials; track results.
- Ensure raw materials in-process and finished products meet company standards.
- Produce inspection reports as appropriate/requested.
- Follows all plant safety rules and regulations.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Reasoning Ability
- Solid Work History
- Dependable and reliable transportation
- Manufacturing Environment: 100% Standing, walking, and lifting.
- Physically fit and able to lift 35 pounds.
- Must be able to stand 8+ hours a day.
