Production Manager / Crew Foreman

We are seeking a Production Manager to join our Team!

Job Summary:

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the installation crews, their equipment, materials installed and vehicle fleet. Production Manager upholds our core values by ensuring quality service, contributing knowledge and teamwork to accomplish revenue and quality goals, and maintaining a safe productive work environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ensure each crew member is following company, program and state rules and regulations.
• Monitor crew’s activity to maintain a high degree of safety, productivity and quality.
• Dispense warehouse material each morning to lead technicians for daily installation.
• Regularly inspect work installed by crews to verify quality and compliance with program guidelines.
• Accountable for monthly van inventory.
• Weekly safety and program update meetings with installation crews.
• Installs measures and assists in corrections when required
• Supervises the crews including recruiting, mentoring, training, discipline and coaching, completing performance evaluations and delegating assignments to ensure maximum productivity.
• Perform weekly inspections on fleet and monitor required maintenance.

• Recommend and lead efforts to improve existing processes and quality.
• Work’s cross-functionally with other departments and team members to ensure company goals are met.
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Extensive knowledge of weatherization techniques and materials.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and lead a crew.
• Strong customer services skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate program concepts.
• Must be able to pass background and drug screen.
• Must have a good driving record and valid driver’s license.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Must have a least 3 years’ experience overseeing Installation crews.
• Three years of related experience or comparable training preferred.
• BPI, HERS, CHEERS certification a plus.
• Strong computer proficiency.

Pay Range:

• $28.00/hr to $33.00/hr DOE

Working Conditions:

• This job operates in an indoor and outdoor setting and may be exposed to the elements.
• Employees will be required to climb 6-ft to 10-ft ladders to access work
• Employees may need to lift up to 50lbs and requires full range of motion.
• Employees will be required to work with power tools and operate equipment
• Employees will be required to crawl in confined spaces
• Local or regional travel required daily
• Flexibility in schedule required
• May require evening and weekend scheduling
