Seasonal - Marina And Rentals Associate at Hero's Welcome

Hero's Welcome seeks enthusiastic associates to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be the face of our business- working with the management team to provide world-class service directly to customers in the summer focused areas of our business, including the Lake Store, Marina, and Rental Center. Our formula is simple: we employ great people, offering great products in a great location. We want you to come be part of delivering that great experience to our community, whether they're here for a weekend or lived here their whole lives. Our season runs from Mid-May to early October- candidates available for the duration of the season are strongly preferred, but those available only a portion of the season will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers providing courteous service in the Lake Store, Marina, Rental Center and Gas Dock.
• Assist customers with booking rental watercraft and bicycle reservations in person and by phone using our reservation management software.
• Assist customers with pickup, return, and support during equipment rentals.
• Maintain clean, organized and sanitary workspaces and sales floor.
• Assist marina customers with questions, providing assistance when needed. Assist boaters with fueling on the dock.
• Deliver rental equipment (watercraft & bicycles) to customers when needed using company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Experience with, and interest in providing excellent customer service.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to understand and communicate important safety information to customers.
• Familiarity with paddlesports, fishing, bicycling, boating and marina operations is desired but not required.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs and confidently handle moving kayaks, canoes, bicycles.
• Experience driving with / reversing a trailer is a plus.
• Candidates must be at least 16 years of age, over 18 preferred.
