POSITION SCOPE

This key role will be instrumental in scaling our global sustainability firm through client advocacy. Your primary mission is to drive client growth and profitability through strategic cross-selling, upselling, and identifying new business opportunities.

As a dedicated impact advisor, you'll collaborate with clients to unlock new revenue streams while driving climate outcomes. You will leverage your expertise in market analysis and sales to guide clients on sustainability and net zero strategies. Drawing upon our deep-rooted knowledge of energy, real estate, capital markets, and technology, you'll play a pivotal role in helping clients successfully achieve their sustainability goals.

This dynamic position demands a combination of industry experience, communication skills, and prioritization strategies to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of complex tasks. This position will directly engage with the Program Management team, Marketing, and the CEO. By contributing to the environmental change in the built environment, you'll align with the escalating importance of climate action, not only in accelerating the energy transition but also as a driver of competitive advantage for our clients. WHAT WE NEED

  • A professional with 5-7 years of B2B experience in business development, sales operations, or strategic marketing with a vast understanding of real estate, energy, and the built environment
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills combined with outstanding business acumen; comfort working with numbers/quantitative models
  • Experience in the real estate industry
  • BA/BS degree in finance, business, marketing, or other relevant area of study
  • Strong technical writing, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ambition to work in a fast-paced, result-oriented, multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary environment with a steep learning curve
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.


WHAT WE WANT

  • Strong interest in sustainability, energy transition and cleantech; relevant experience in renewables, asset decarbonization, decarbonization policy, sustainable financing, carbon offsets, carbon audit or carbon modelling
  • A strong leader, as demonstrated in a workplace setting and/or through extracurricular activities
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex ideas effectively
  • Proficient in quantitative analytics with a demonstrated aptitude for analysis and data interpretation
  • Experience in HubSpot.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES – Responsibilities will include client development and management for multiple clients/energy efficiency projects. The position requires strong technical capabilities; knowledge of building systems, energy efficiency, demand management, green building, and sustainability are vital.

  • Drive revenue growth through strategic initiatives for both new and existing clients
  • Research and prioritize prospective accounts in target markets
  • Lead the sales cycle by pursuing and nurturing leads
  • Develop proposals based on prospective client requests
  • Follow-up on delivered proposals to capture opportunity
  • Prospecting and lead creation
  • Analyze marketing and sales data, formulate hypotheses, and make client-ready recommendations
  • Update and maintain internal tools and dashboards for BD and marketing visibility
  • Collaborate with client teams to implement recommendations and bolster ESG capabilities
  • Ensure the GreenGen team is well-equipped for project execution
  • Facilitate communication among clients and internal stakeholders during energy plan development
  • Provide support for strategic client engagements
  • Research ESG market trends for service opportunities for clients
  • Perform assigned duties as needed.


LOCATION – Position is based in the US and fully remote.


TRAVEL – Within the US and possibly international will be required for this role up to 30% of the time.
