CannabizTEMP is actively seeking Packaging Technicians to join our client, an industry-leading Cannabis Company in Kalkaska, MI. As a Packaging Technician, you will play a crucial role in the assembly, packaging, and labeling of various cannabis-infused products for shipment. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a desire to work collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities:
Quality Control: Thoroughly inspect cartridges and pre-rolls, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.
Weighing and Measuring: Accurately measure and weigh cannabis products to comply with regulatory requirements.
Packaging: Properly package products while maintaining freshness and quality, following strict protocols.
Labeling: Apply labels with required information, including potency, dosage instructions, and regulatory compliance.
Inventory Management: Track inventory levels and assist in restocking packaging materials.
Compliance: Ensure all packaging and labeling practices adhere to state and federal cannabis industry regulations.
Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of packaging and labeling activities for regulatory compliance.
Sanitization: Follow strict sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and hygienic packaging environment.
Safety: Adhere to safety protocols when handling cannabis products and machinery.
