Wohali Estimators are responsible for creating and tracking accurate budgets for projects within the Wohali Development.

We are a private luxury community in its start-up phase and working to add Preconstruction Services to our current capacities.

Wohali is comprised of several different business units; they are Wohali Real Estate, Wohali Builders, and Wohali Resort. Collaboration across these business units is of paramount importance. As we are in our start up phase Wohali Estimators will be leaned on to take a leading role in creating our Preconstruction processes. Estimators will be viewed as a key business partner to multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Individual: Understand and perform tasks and duties

Estimators are responsible for utilizing industry take off programs to perform take offs, discussing constructability reviews with the leaders of our various self-perform divisions. Estimators will play a leading role in compiling and presenting complete project proposals to all relevant stakeholders.

Estimators are responsible to review project design documents and provide opportunities for Value Engineering to stakeholders. Strong plan reading acumen is of vital importance.

Estimators will be required to work with our self-perform divisions to develop each proposal. This may include but will not be limited to conducting accurate quantity takeoffs, assigning manhours and durations to activities, tracking KPI’s and utilizing real time data into proposals, performing regular project based financial reviews to analyze budgets.

Estimators must have an attention to detail, a sense of urgency with tasks at hand, knowledge of analyzing job cost reports and division performance against budget. They ensure the accuracy of their proposals and own the quality of the budgets that will be used to set the divisions up for successful outcomes. The Estimator is also responsible for developing and providing regular reports on the various stages of projects and proposals, to relevant stakeholders.

System: Develop, Understand, and Perform role well.

Estimators will work with the various business units of Wohali to understand their needs, tailor timely and accurate information to stakeholders, and work with design teams to provide robust Value Engineered solutions to any issues that arise.

As Wohali is a start up endeavor, the Estimator will be relied on to develop robust processes and procedures to accommodate the needs and information required of all Wohali Business Units.

The ideal Estimator candidate would have a strong understanding of how industry processes, tools, templates, and general information reporting for our business to work together to produce the appropriate outcomes.

A key responsibility of the Estimator is to anticipate the future, identify opportunities and plan to capitalize on those opportunities. Wohali Estimators should also anticipate and identify risks along with issues and conflicts that are most likely to occur, while providing viable VE solutions to relevant teams.

Talent: Possess, Develop, and foster talent development in stakeholders

Estimators are responsible to own the outcomes of their labor. Estimators will be expected to review past performance and adjust as needed.

Wohali Estimators will be expected to have an eye towards continually improving their knowledge base, while stay in front of industry trends.

Estimators should develop relationships with external vendors and work to maximize relationships across the development. Estimators will also be expected to work with internal stakeholders to hone performance throughout the entire life cycle of projects.

Organizational: Build scalable and sustainable processes.

The Estimator will be expected to develop a robust system for Value Engineering solutions to Project Managers. This system will be expected to scale with expected Wohali growth, with little oversight.

The Estimator will be responsible to develop a system of capturing data at regular intervals and implementing this data across all business units.

Work with stakeholders to close proposals and set project teams up for total success.
