Job Title: HVAC Technician

Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Technician to join our team at Novva Data Centers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to assemble units and provide feedback on process improvements.  As an HVAC Technician, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing of HVAC units.

Responsibilities:

1. Mechanical Assembly:
   • Brazing of copper pipe
   • Pro-press fittings experience
2. Prepare units:
   • Preform QC integrity checks by pressure testing systems
   • Vacuum and charge systems to specifications
3. Controls:
   • Connect and wire sensors and components to electrical panel
4. Process Improvement:
   • Recommend and implement process upgrades to enhance energy efficiency and performance.
   • Stay informed about industry advancements and new technologies to provide innovative solutions.
5. Documentation:
   • Maintain accurate records of all service and maintenance activities.
   • Prepare reports on system status, issues, and recommended solutions.
6. Safety Compliance:
   • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
   • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures at all times.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician.
• Technical diploma or certification in HVAC systems.
• Ability to interpret and follow technical manuals and blueprints.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
• Perform maintenance and repairs as needed on a wide array of different manufactured air-cooled chillers.
• Demonstrate strong electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Excel at communicating with all the different internal departments.
  
• Maintain great relationships with vendors and manufacturers.
