InfraHire is looking for a CNC Machinist III in Rancho Cordova, CA.
Job Description:
The CNC Machinist III is responsible for employing advanced machining techniques and processes to manufacture precise and high-quality parts.
The CNC Machinist III is responsible for employing advanced machining techniques and processes to manufacture precise and high-quality parts.
Responsibilities:
- Independently perform the highest level of complex machining and programming activities in line with company capabilities
- CNC Milling and.Lathe Experience Required
- Setup high-end jobs on 5 axis and/or lathes Required
- Available to be sought out to provide training and/or solutions to less experienced machinists
- Design custom fixtures for machining various complexities of parts
- Responsible for checking parts to print and models using various inspections techniques
- Acquired proficiency in all skills and abilities of Machinist I & II
- Expertise in programming software such as Mastercam/Fusion360
- Comprehensive understanding of G-code
- Proficiency in SolidWorks modeling software
- Advanced proficiency in 3-axis, 5-axis, and/or lathe machining
Qualifications:
- Preferred qualification includes a degree in Machine Tool, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of CNC programming and machining experience is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC milling and lathe operations is required.
- At least 2 years of experience in 5-axis machining is required.
- Advanced proficiency in using Fusion360 software is preferred.
