Position: CNC Operator

Summary of Duties:

  1. The CNC Operator operates computer numerical control (CNC) mill machining centers to perform machine functions such as boring, facing, and threading parts of metallic workpieces.
  2. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  3. Loading parts into the CNC, Operating the CNC, removing machined parts
  4. Will also be responsible for basic Inspection of parts. Including but not limited to Visual Inspection, Fixture checks, gauge checks and micrometer/caliper usage.
  5. Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards.
  6. Maintains specifications by observing taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
  7. Ensures work station is clean and organized during shift and before shift end
  8. Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  9. Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
  10. Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  11. Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
    Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
  12. Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 1 year of relative experience OR Manufacturing Experience in a production setting
  • Able to pass drug and background check
  • Able to work overtime and weekends as needed
