Manatee Tour Hybrid Associate

Pay For Shop starts at $15 per hour and varies based on experience.

Pay For Guiding starts at $50 Per trip and varies based on experience.

You will also receive a 6% commission on all tours that you book!

Explorida is seeking smiling faces to join our crew! Are you passionate about the environment with a love for teaching people about nature and wildlife? This may be the job for you!!

We are looking for a motivated, confident, friendly, customer service-oriented individual to double as a shop associate and guide. Positions will start as full-time for shop services, and as our Manatee Season approaches, will learn to cross-train as a Swim Guide.

Customer service sets us apart from the masses. STRONG PEOPLE SKILLS are a MUST! This job will require you to be prompt and reliable with a clean appearance. Must possess a clean driving record and must be able to pass a drug test. You will be required to join our drug consortium and random drug tests will be requested.

Requirements

· Coachable.

· Must be a strong swimmer.

Willing to be on the water for three hours a trip, multiple trips a day.

· Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate behavioral

expectations to groups of 2 - 10 people.

· Must be able to work well under pressure with the ability to manage and control people in the water.

· Ability to pass random drug tests.

· Reliable transportation.

· Clean driving record.

· Ability to work early mornings and long days.

· Critical thinking and problem solving skills.

· Works well in a fast pace environment.

· Some heavy (50lbs) lifting required.
