Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $25-35 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm

What’s a typical day as a Machinist? You’ll be:
• Checking part dimensions using precision measuring instruments
• Assessing and repairing emergency jobs, making parts immediately
• Manufacturing parts to specifications using complex shop calculations
• Giving technical advice to other internal departments
• Maintaining and repairing departmental equipment
• Collaborating with designers and engineers in the development stages
• Programming and operating numerically-controlled equipment
• Operating manual mills, lathes, drill presses, saws, and grinders
• Using a variety of hand tools and measuring equipment
• Fabricating complex and/or fabricated components from blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions
