Dietitian Nutritionist II

Unit Description:

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to lead their inpatient clinical team at SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital, a 450-bed teaching hospital located in Oklahoma City, OK. SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital offers a variety of health-care specialties: oncology, surgical, cardiovascular, OB/GYN, critical care, level 2 NICU, behavioral health, neuro/spine, inpatient rehab, and general medicine. Position is scheduled to work full time ~40 hours per week with excellent benefits.

Position reports to Clinical Nutrition Manager and ideal candidate will:

• Have prior inpatient clinical experience in an acute care setting (3-4 years with
• Willing to engage in interdisciplinary teams, such as discharge planning and rounds 
• Provide learning experiences for dietetics/other healthcare students & interns, foodservice staff, and other staff
• Assist clinical nutrition manager with additional administrative tasks as needed (ex: participate in development of interdisciplinary policies and protocols and implementation of operating standards, tools, and resources)
• Have excellent communication and customer service skills, and be an outstanding team player
• Prior experience with At Your Request room-service program and electronic patient charting a plus- facility uses EPIC and Health-Touch
• Work some weekends and holidays based on clinical staffing needs
• Experience leading a group of dietitians

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) (Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, a master’s degree will be required)

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision

 

Credentials Requirement:

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
• Specialty credential in area(s) of focused practice, as applicable, or advanced practice certification (RD-AP/RDN-AP)
