Maintenance Supervisor

Summary: Seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance scheduling, budget management, and facility equipment upkeep.

Job Requirements:

• Must have experience in a union environment, understanding rules, overtime, and working conditions.

• Proven track record of managing maintenance schedules for production and facility equipment including CNC machines, presses, mills, lathes, HVAC units, boilers etc.

Preferred Skills:

• Automotive industry background is beneficial but not required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire plant's maintenance schedule across multiple shifts.

• Communicate project statuses across shifts and plan subsequent shift schedules.

• Prioritize tasks effectively and recruit volunteers for weekend shifts as needed.

• Plan and execute corrective action maintenance.

• Manage annual budgets, negotiate vendor contracts, and oversee capital projects from planning to implementation.

• Conduct annual OSHA training updates; ensure compliance with inspections and licenses.

• Implement and maintain a preventive maintenance program; manage equipment repair data using software tools.

• Facilitate plant-wide initiatives such as safety improvements, TPM, 5S, Six Sigma etc.

• Review external contractor work ensuring adherence to company policies and regulations like HAZMAT, OSHA, NFPA etc.

• Support manufacturing production with technical issues on current and new launch products.

 

Pay Details: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
