This Help Desk Analyst role is located in the Scranton, Pennsylvania area and is a long-term contract / temporary to hire opportunity.
Key responsibilities
- Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues
- Answer and follow up on technical help tickets submitted via phone, email, and walk-ups
- Identify recurring technical issues and propose solutions to address the root of the problems
- Provide IT assistance for operating systems, productivity software, and a variety of other software applications used internally- Ability to recognize, evaluate, and resolve problems effectively
- Demonstrated knowledge of user administration and bug fixing in a client server environment
- Foundational knowledge in LAN (local area networks)
- Experience with Basic Troubleshooting
- Windows OS experience
- Microsoft Office 365 experience required
- Comprehensive knowledge of Active Directory
- Proven experience in installing and configuring operating systems, networked and local printers, and business applications
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts
- Prior experience with IT support ticketing systems
