Part-Time Occupational Therapist - Macon, MS

ProCare Therapy is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in Macon, Mississippi on a part-time basis.

Position Overview: In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to studentsat a school inMacon. This is a part-time position, with a flexible schedule of approximately 20-25 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students' functional abilities and limitations in areas such as self-care, work, and leisure activities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve independence, develop compensatory strategies, and achieve functional goals
• Administer standardized assessments and document patient progress
• Provide therapeutic interventions, such as activity analysis, adaptive equipment training, and environmental modifications
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies for promoting independence and safety
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated studentcare

Qualifications:

• Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Mississippi
• Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
