Phlebotomist I

DESCRIPTION:

• Will perform blood draws
• Will work with all demographics of the general public (some geriatric, OBGYN, internal meds, mostly reg Dr office)
• Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test order.
• Perform data entry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• PSC or an IOP – FLOAT position
• Will be at IOP more often than PSC
• Arrive get set up for the day, handle patients (some walk ins), no DT/paternity
• Draw, process, prep for shipping, track temps, draw logs

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have at least 1+ year of phlebotomy experience.
