Job Description
Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for an Interim Controller consultant to support our agricultural client on a 4-6 month remote engagement. The Interim Controller will report to the Director of Business Operations and take over day-to-day accounting oversight for general ledger and operational accounting functions. The focus for this role will be on payroll accounting, managing the team through month-end close, preparing financial statements and related reporting for leadership monthly, and supporting ongoing lease accounting for the company’s land, vehicles and equipment leases. The ideal Interim Controller consultant will possess the ability to effectively manage staff in a remote capacity and get up and running with little guidance or oversight.
- Experience managing accounting for an organization
- Prior experience supporting payroll accounting (in-house)
- Previous experience using NetSuite highly preferred, but not required
- Capital lease accounting highly preferred, but not required
- Ability to assimilate to PST business hours
