Property Maintenance Tech

Southern Indiana

Monday - Saturday | 8:30 am - 5 pm & 9 am - 1 pm | $19/hr

• Overtime possible/ mandatory

• Temp with intent to hire

Maintenance Tech Requirements

• Previous Maintenance experience

• Physically capable of manual labor including lifting 25+ pounds, bending, reaching, and lifting.

• Stong organizational skills

• Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, and other systems.

• Working knowledge of tools, common devices, and appliances.

• Problem-solving skills

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license

• Basic computer proficiency including email and Internet.

• Ability to work as a team as well as independently.

• Ability to provide legible written reports.

About the Maintenance Tech Role

• Painting, home remodeling, minor plumbing, electrical work, landscaping, etc.

• Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary

• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality

• Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed

• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows, etc.)

• Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide

• Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned

• Keeping grounds and landscaping in tip-top shape

• Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed

• Mowing, weed eating, and hedge trimming (also includes performing preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment)
