Full Time School Psychologist (PSYCH) or School Social Worker (SSW) For 23/24

Blazer Jobs is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated School Psychologist or School Social Worker to join our team in Peyton, Colorado. This full-time contract for the 2023/2024school year, offers a rewarding opportunity to work within a school-basedsetting and make a positive impact on the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students.

Requirements:

• Valid licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of Colorado
• Doctoral degree or an Educational Specialist in School Psychology or related field
• Knowledge of local and state regulations governing school psychology services
• Experience working withstudents and families
• CDE Licensure

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress notes in accordance with professional standards and legal requirements
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with special needs
• Consult with teachers and school staff to support the implementation of evidence-based practices and interventions in the classroom
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress, make recommendations for educational placement and services
