Mechanical Piping Engineer

Summary: Seeking an experienced Mechanical Piping Engineer with expertise in combined-cycle power plants and a strong background in on-site engineering support.

Requirements:

• Minimum 15 years of overall experience in the field.

• At least 5 years as a discipline lead engineer, project engineer, or in engineering management.

• Minimum 3 years of on-site engineering support to construction projects.

• Proficiency in creating and reviewing equipment and piping specifications for CCPPs.

• Ability to develop and review mechanical, piping, and process calculations for CCPPs.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience as an Owner's engineer is preferred.

• Experience specifically with the engineering and design of combined-cycle power plants (CCPP).

Responsibilities:

• Perform drawing reviews for mechanical design and conduct interdiscipline reviews.

• Prepare and review project schedules, cost estimates, and budgets.

• Travel to construction sites in Indonesia occasionally for site meetings and walkdowns.

• Based at the Houston office with periodic meetings at the Fluor office in Sugarland, TX.

Additional Information:

• This position is open to US Citizens or Green Card holders only.

• The duration of the assignment is 12 months with possible overtime expectations of 0-5 hours +/- per week.

• No security clearance is required for this position.

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
