About this job
Our client is looking for Mechanical Utility Technicians in Cartersville, GA!
RESPONSIBILITIES
Able to perform routine preventative maintenance tasks to:
- Process water system, CDA, Exhaust blowers, HVAC, Gas/Chemical supply system, WWT including all pumps, valves, fittings, and piping etc.
- Ensure cleanliness of machine and components by use of hose, air guns, IPA, cloths, vacuum, etc.
- Disassemble machines by using hand tools.
- Examine broken machine parts and identify defective parts.
- Replace, fix, or realign machine parts and accessories in line with production specifications.
- Application of adhesives, lubricants or other materials to machines or their parts as well as other equipment in accordance with SOP
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience/Training in mechanical maintenance or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in a team of technicians.
- Basic knowledge of Plumbing codes and building codes.
