About this job
About who needs care: We are looking for occasional help when we need to run errands, etc. Someone to sit with mom and visit. Possibly help prep a meal and eat with mom if it's over a meal time. Mom has dementia so we do not want to leave her alone. However, she can dress, bathroom, etc. by herself.
About the care needs: Someone who would enjoy visiting with an 82-year-old woman with dementia. Someone who is patient and calm. Mom likes to sit on the patio. She has bad eyes so does not have many hobbies she can do any longer.
Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
