Professional Safety Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Field Safety Advisor for our client in Kansas.

Our Expectations

Health and Safety Professionals at ProSafe serve in a dual role: where the initial objective is to operate in a consultative capacity by providing expert support, guidance, and motivation to operations management and employees at all levels. In addition, along with management, the Health and Safety Professionals at ProSafe are expected to be a hands-on partner in delivering various safety initiatives and programs specifically to develop an excellent safety culture.

Here's what you'll do as part of our team:

• Exemplify and promote a culture of safety excellence;
• Provide EH&S regulatory and technical expertise;
• Conduct site safety observations in the field;
• Investigate incidents to identify root causes, determine how they might be prevented in the future, and communicate those findings to team members through written safety bulletins;
• Implement initiatives designed to reduce injury trends in certain locales or job functions;
• Evaluate EHS regulatory compliance of subcontractors and build partnerships;
• Maintain a high level of professionalism with regard to presence, internal communication, and customer interaction;
• Be a self-motivated team player who strives to make a positive impact on the safe performance and overall success of our client and ProSafe.

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in utility-scale solar safety, high voltage transmission/distribution, utility-scale renewable energy safety or Vegetation Management
• Understand the primary hazards associated with utility solar farms
• Write high-quality observation reports for each observation performed on a contractor crew
• OSHA 30-hour construction training;
• NFPA70E certification;
• Proficient in technical writing and reporting
• Proficient in the use of Google Suites (Gmail, Sheets, Drive, etc)
• Strong time management skills
• Effective communicator and interpersonal skills
• CPR/First Aid Certified
• A valid driver's license with a clean record.

The preferred candidate will have the following:

• CHST designation or CUSP designation highly preferred but not required
