Production Operator (Batcher)Tifton, GA | Temp | $11.00 - $11.50 / HourlyWe are searching for a Production Operator (Batcher) to ensure smooth and proper manufacturing of our product. You will be supporting the overall operations of the Tifton plant for a company known as a leading manufacturer and distributor of crop protection solutions in the U.S. This includes performing your duties in a plant environment. You will be exposed to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold, or chemicals.Responsibilities

• Blend and mix raw materials to create a final product
• Review specification sheet to ensure all raw materials are available and ready for use
• Prepare documentation to support use of raw materials
• Prepare pallet ticket for finished product
• Report any damaged material
• Complete proper paperwork
• Follow through with cleanup of your work station
• Aid other employees and the manager in additional duties

Experience and Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Requirements

• Lift and move up to 55 pounds
• Stand for long periods of time
• Work at heights of 12 feet
• Wear and maintain PPE including a respirator, steel toed boots, safety gloves, hard hat, and ear plugs
• Be physically agile
• Be able to see and hear well
• Be able to work in a fast paced environment
• Basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing
• Be able to convert US standards to metrics
• Have good reading and writing skills in English
• Work well with others and individually
• Be able to work overtime when required, including weekends and holidays
