LOCATION: Hillcrest Group Home in Dublin, GA (in person)
Under general supervision this role provides assistance with daily living activities in a residential environment. Observation and monitoring of client’s behavior with charting of observations and incidents. Provides training on basic personal and social skills, simple educational and work skills. May assist with meal preparation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Instructs and advises individuals on daily living skills in group or one-on-one situations
- Observes and monitors client behavior
- Advises individuals on behavioral problems, daily decision-making, and solving of minor problems.
- Provides personal care as necessary
- Performs light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, washing clothes and dishes
- May plan, shop for and prepare meals including special diets as prescribed
- Prepare and maintain progress charts for individuals including services, changes in client condition
- Monitor self-administration of medication and healthcare plans/protocols
Requirements/Preferences:
- Must Pass a Drug Screen and National Background Check
- HS Diploma or Equivalent Document
- Valid GA Driver's License
- Must Be 20-21+ Years of Age to Drive Company Vehicles.
- Basic Computer Literacy Skills
40 Hour Work Week
Monday - Friday, 8am-4pm
