Automation System Infrastructure Engineer Lead 16691
This position involves providing comprehensive support for the operation, repair, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and control systems in a GMP production environment. The primary responsibilities include:
- Offering off-shift and on-call support as required
- Assuming responsibility for Reliability Engineering and periodic review of the Automation Systems
- Ensuring appropriate user access levels, documented training, and authorization to access managed computer systems
- Managing regulatory compliance and implementation initiatives
- Overseeing system security procedures, audit trail reviews, and system logs for compliance
- Designing and implementing support for functional and process changes in adherence to automation standards
- Assisting with the evaluation of current processes, equipment, and data
- Providing guidance and training on automation to other functional groups
- Authoring and reviewing GMP design documentation
- Supporting GMP FAT/Commissioning/Qualification activities
- Ensuring backup/archival/restoration work and adherence to defined procedures
- Developing and maintaining hardware and software standards for automation equipment
- Creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for automation equipment
- Undertaking System Administration functions for all SCADA, Data Historians, and Engineering software applications
- Maintaining manufacturing-level networks and process I/O's in a GMP manufacturing facility
