Job Description
Our client, who is a well-established Tier 1 with the heavy truck and bus industry, is looking to add an AutoCAD designer to their team.

As a Designer, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing, prototyping and quality departments. You will be responsible for creating and modifying fixtures and gauges that have been well established and proprietary. Creating components and drawings for manufacturing.
Position Overview
- Designing fixtures and gauges in 2D/3D for our exhaust, stacks, fluid, and structure tubes for heavy duty automotive products
- Applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) from customer print to the fixture to capture the design intent
- Reviewing customers prints to ensure accuracy to their CAD models
- Manage project files and documentation
Required Skills
- 2 years + experience designing with AutoCAD
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Inventor
- Ability to read and interpret GD&T and datums
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously
