We are hiring for a Sr. Loss Mitigation & Collection Specialist for our Credit Department! This position is a subject matter expert in the Loss Mitigation and Collections efforts of the Bank. This position works closely with those involved in the bank’s loss mitigation and collection efforts including, but not limited to, members of Management, Loan Servicing Manager, Loan Operations Manager, Citizens First Bank Lenders, Credit Analysts, and attorneys.

Requirements:
Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent plus two-three years of loss mitigation and collection experience including loans to investors. Must be well versed in collection and bankruptcy laws. Must be able to work well under pressure with the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to read, interpret, and produce documents such as policies, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Accurate typing and keyboarding skills as well. Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Preferred:. Five or more years of progressive experience in loss mitigation, collection, and mortgage.
