Kitchen Steward

We need a hardworking person who can get in and help with a variety of kitchen tasks. In addition to unloading dirty dishes brought in by bussers, you will be scraping, sorting, and loading dishes into the dishwashing machine. • Maintain a clean working environment by sweeping and mopping kitchen floors daily
• Sort dishes, scrape plates, and rinse glassware before loading into the dishwashing machine
• Unload the dishwashing machine and place utensils and dishes in appropriate storage areas
• Take part in employee meetings regularly to stay up to date on all policies and safety regulations
• Ensure appropriate levels of detergent and cleaning supplies while also keeping track of dishwashing machine mechanical problems

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in food service is preferred
• Possesses a strong work ethic and have high attention to detail
• In good physical condition with excellent health
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification
