Basic Functions:


Provides detailed and timely support for the daily operations of the Stock Transfer Department. In addition, the colleague will provide excellent customer service to the large base of customers serviced by the Department.


Essential Job Duties:


  • Stock Transfer Processing - (post, verify transfer, and mail certificates and advice)
  • Completes mail correspondence as needed
  • Verifies all transfers to ensure they meet all requirements
  • Place stops on certificates as required
  • Acts as a Dividend Reinvestment Plan ("DRIP") liaison with outside vendors
  • Coordination of DRIP transfers, new accounts, and deletions
  • Coordination with client legal departments for stock options (assuring DWAC's are accepted timely and correctly)
  • File maintenance on accounts (address changes, holds, cashier check letters, certification of W-9 and W-8BEN, and mail transfer letters)
  • Maintain various logs of daily transfer activities
  • Assist with the escheatment process
  • Send shareholder listing reports in a timely manner
  • Upload SIC reports and date the stop log for the X-17
  • Prepare month-end postage reports and provide to Assistant Manager
  • Provide timely assistance to internal and external customers

Conduct all duties in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Bank policies and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Proficient with current computer technology
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent phone and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Generate reports on stock transfer software
  • Willing to back up other department duties when team members are absent

Training and Experience:


  • A four-year degree with a business or accounting focus is preferred
  • One or more years of experience in banking or related fields is preferred

This is a full time, non-exempt position eligible for a robust benefit package.

The successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen, consumer credit and background check is required.
