Radiologic Technologist - MRI

- Perform radiographic examinations using MRI technology as directed by physicians or radiologists

- Prepare patients for the examinations and adjust equipment as necessary

- Provide clear instructions to patients regarding procedures to ensure their comfort and cooperation

- Conduct Quality Assurance tasks under the guidance of the Medical Imaging Director

- Maintain accurate records and reports, including filing patient jackets as required

- Valid AK state RN license

- BLS certification (AHA)

- ARRT MRI certification and a minimum of 2 years of MRI experience

- ARRT R certification

- Preferred: 2+ years of CT experience

- Successful completion of an AMA approved Radiologic Technologist training course

- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and maintaining annual registration

- Keeping current with CEU credits as required by the ARRT
