Peoplelink Staffing Solutions – Clare is hiring Welders for a innovative client located right here in Clare, MI.
Job Type: Full-time, 2nd, and 3rd Shift available, 8–12-hour shifts (NO SUNDAYS)
Pay: $18.00/hr.
Welder Job Summary:
This position fabricates components that are used to assemble products by performing the following duties (in addition to being accountable for being self-motivated while producing high quality products at an efficient rate working in a team environment). This also requires becoming certified as a welder in both steel and aluminum.
Welder Job Description:
- Position parts according to the work orders, routings, prints and knowledge of the unit being welded.
- Regulates machine for proper weld current, wire feed, and gas flow.
- Joins together two pieces of steel or aluminum by heating to a temperature high enough to cause proper fusion.
- Removes BB’s and any other weld imperfections from surface of products.
- Records all labor, downtime, scrap, rework, and documents all information pertaining to each work order and routing sheet.
Welder Job Qualifications:
- Welding: 1 year (Required)
- High school Diploma or GED (Required)
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret the English language.
- Must possess basic math skills.
- Agility of the upper and lower body extremities, and capable of lifting 50 pounds regularly.
