Cornerstone Staffing Solutions is supporting an aviation company with a temp to hire Production Assembly Technician. The Aviation Training Company is looking for a temp to hire with the right skills to fill the Computer Production Assembly Technician position.
Required Experience:
- Assembly – drilling, soldering, wiring, read and understand basic electronic and mechanical schematics
- Hardware – familiar with types of fasteners, nuts, bolts, screws
- Computer Proficiency – computer components and their functionality/operations. Computer assembly, operating systems, software installation, networking and general hardware setup.
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Trouble Shooting / Problem Solving
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and their usage
- Basic electronics knowledge
- Demonstrate proficiency and accuracy with assembly skills required to build products in a repetitive environment.
- Building or configuring new hardware, system troubleshooting, including boot troubleshooting, virus removals, and disk cloning
- Install and update software packages
- Create and maintain computer networks
- Familiarity with latest versions of Windows, as well as Microsoft Office products in general
- Have knowledge of Ubuntu operating system
- Execute tests and debug programs
QUALIFICATIONS
- § Read, speak and understand the English language
- § Take pride in appearance and work ethic
- § Comprehend and retain new information and instruction quickly
- § Ability to work under high demand, high pressure situations
- § CompTIA A+ certification a plus
- § CompTIA Network+ certification a plus
- § Knowledge in aviation and aircraft a plus
Shift: Monday to Friday 7:30 am-4:00 pm
Rate $ 20-22/hr - negotiable with level of experience
