Service Technician

Adkore has a need for an HVAC Service Technician in Myrtle Beach area. This is a permanent hire opportunity with a local established Mechanical Contractor with excellent pay and benefits.

Service Technician candidates should have 3+ years of experience with some commercial experience is a plus.
Prefer candidates with working knowledge of package units, split systems, RTUs, etc. Refrigeration techs with Supermarket/Grocery experience with walk-in/freezers/coolers may be considered as well.

Job skills performed by Service Technicians will include, but are not limited to:
*Accurately Diagnose and Repair Problems on HVAC Equipment
*Communicate Solutions to the customer
*Perform maintenance on equipment.
*Solder/weld/braze and perform minor field fabrication.

This position requires the following:
*Must have hands-on HVAC experience (light commercial included)
*EPA Universal certification required
*Must be able technically savvy, able to operate smart phone and tablet
*Must be adaptable, versatile and able to diagnose new equipment
*Excellent customer service skills and communication skills
*Good Electrical and Mechanical diagnostic skills
*Clean MVR , background check and drug screen is required
