Sales Associate Cashier

We are seeking a Sales Associate Cashier to join our team! You will resolve customer questions, assist customers in finding what they need and learn the specs of our highest selling departments.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers with a friendly, helpful attitude.
• Be ready and willing to answer any questions a customer has and help them find a solution for what they are needing.
• Operate a fuel pump switch from inside the store and keep track of which customers are getting which fuels. We offer regular, premium, diesel and off-road fuel.
• Assist customers in finding products throughout the store.
• Answer and resolve phone calls.
• Efficiently multitask at times.
• Complete sales on the point-of-sale register and process cash, card and charge account payment methods.
• Work efficiently and timely with customers and during tasks or projects.
• Assisting customers with finding the correct size and type bolts and fittings they need.
• Keep your work area organized, tidy and report any problems to management. You are expected to be at your designated work stations at all times except for breaks, tasks, projects and when customer assistance is needed throughout the store.
• Work efficiently, diligently and focused in a very fast paced, self-start environment.
• Price and stock items.
• Note any out of stock items.
• Occasionally may fill propane tanks.
• Occasionally may assist in fulfilling online orders. We sell parts to customers all over the US and Canada via our ever growing e-commerce.

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, farm related parts.
• Upon hire, you will be required to learn technical aspects if you do not have current knowledge of bolts, screws, fasteners and other fittings. Current knowledge and experience with these parts is a big PLUS and preferred, but we will train someone eager to learn.
• Familiarity with point of sales or at least knowledge of computer systems and desktop windows.
• Ability to stand, walk and occasionally lift up to 30-60Ibs during your shift.
• Strong communication skills and ability to problem solve for customers.
• Knowledge of basic hardware parts.
• Willingness to learn all aspects of each store department and its contents.
• Ability to be a self-starter employee that can adapt to fast paced clientele and time sensitive tasks.
• Any tasks, projects or other work that is expected, requested and required from your management team.

This position allows you to make not only an annual salary, but also commission starting at 60 days. You will have the potential to increase your own compensation by being quick to learn and understand our clientele and products.
