Location: Marble Falls Area
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM (with flexibility for overtime during the week)
Pay Rate: $16.25
Responsibilities:
As a Material Handler with our prestigious metal supplier company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products. Your responsibilities will include:
- Demonstrate the ability to lift and handle loads ranging from 10 to 20 lbs.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform tasks that require manual dexterity.
- Experience with sit-down forklift operation is advantageous, though not mandatory.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various material handling equipment.
- Efficiently load and unload steel and metal roofing materials into customers' vehicles.
- Ensure accuracy and care in handling products to maintain quality standards.
- Pull and prepare customers' orders with precision and attention to detail.
- Maintain a keen focus on order accuracy to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Assist in stock inventory processes, ensuring proper organization and record-keeping.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse space and streamline operations.
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
- Ability to work efficiently in various weather conditions and adapt to outside elements.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
