Job Type: Contract Full Time
Immediate 12 month position available in Forest Park, GA /Hybrid.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience detailing structural steel
- Proficient with AutoCAD 2D and 3D
- Ability to take a hand sketch and produce a detailed erection and fabrication drawing
- Working knowledge of AWS D1.1, AISC Fourteenth edition, OSHA, AASHTO and ADA codes
- Familiar with Heavy Structural Steel industry detailing standard
- Knowledge of loads and how they transfer throughout a structure
- Basic knowledge of concrete design is a plus, but not required
- Computer skills to be proficient with standard office software applications.
- Previous experience with Advanced Steel is a plus.
- Interpersonal skills sufficient to build working relationships with peers, internal customers and the general public.
- Time management skills sufficient to manage multiple projects with various priorities and competing deadlines.
- Written and verbal communication skills sufficient to satisfactorily complete project documentation and to function effectively in a team environment.
