Job SummaryThis position is one of three responsible for administering PSE&G’s electric and gas commodity commercial obligations - and leading the organization that ensures all regulatory, contractual and tariff requirements associated with operating the Company’s retail choice and electric and gas default service programs are satisfied.  This position is primarily responsible for managing PSE&G’s counterparty credit risk associated with energy supply. Other position responsibilities include ensuring accurate payments for roughly $2-3 Billion for electric default supply service and $1Billion for gas default supply service. This position manages professional employee(s). This position routinely involves interfacing with a variety of external organizations (regulators; suppliers; PJM). This position is routinely involved in assessing regulatory and strategic issues, developing PSE&G policies, and interacting with external organizations on behalf of the Company.Job ResponsibilitiesPrimary for this position: Lead the credit analyst(s) and manage the daily credit and risk management activities of PSE&G relative to electric and gas TPSs, BGS/BGSS suppliers, large gas customers/generators and other counterparties – to ensure all counterparties are satisfying Company credit requirements. Manage the supplier onboarding processes.Serve as process owner for the electric supply commercial processes – including all financial obligations and contractual compliance for electric supply acquisition. Lead a team of analysts in the daily and monthly operation of electric supply payments and process analysis, including the interaction and communication with all Basic Generation Service suppliers in relation to settlement and payment inquiries and transactions.  Also includes interacting with the PJM ISO to understand PJM market/commercial operations and billing.  and how the PJM charges are assessed to ensure all ISO charges are accounted for accurately in BGS supplier payments. Additionally, responsible for accurate and timely payment to Purchased Electric Power generators.Serve as process owner for the gas supply commercial processes – including all financial obligations, contract and tariff compliance for BGSS and large cogeneration gas contracts, and tariff compliance for all gas suppliers. Lead a team of analysts in the daily and monthly operation of gas supply payments and process/gas load analysis, as well as all financial/commercial terms associated with all gas supply agreements, including all cash-out invoicing with gas suppliers.Position responsible for assisting in the establishment of policy and in monitoring regulatory and/or other business process changes (including PJM ISO, NJ BPU) – and for ensuring that Company commodity operations processes are modified accordingly to insure continued accurate load reporting, BGS/BGSS supplier payments, and gas commercial processes.  In this capacity, position provides process support to the Settlements/Energy Operations group within the Energy Supply organization – including settlement process design, operation and process troubleshooting and analysis.  Job Specific QualificationsRequired:Required: •    BS Degree.
