Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license in hand at the time of application.

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.

• Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Previous perm staff must be gone for 2 years before they are eligible to return in a traveler capacity. No exceptions.

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

Shifts & Scheduling - Day or Afternoon

Weeknight/Call, Weekend/Call and Holiday/Call Required

Call/Late coverage for EP cases - Cardiologist hours/on call: on call hours are 430pm to 6am

What is call response time? 30 minutes

Floating Requirements: Only work in the Cath lab

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Cardiology Patients

Experience or ‘Must have’ skills: Experience with Impella/ IABP/ INARI

Scrub Color/Dress Code: OR scrubs provided daily

Submission Requirements:

• Can only submit to 1 position at a time across the entire WVU system
• Individual unit requirements listed in pulse apply.
• Travel teams must be submitted together in 1 email

2 references from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type)

Proof of driver’s license required to apply

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
