RN - Wound Care PD Day

Description

Responsible for a variety of functions related to the specialty of wound, ostomy, and continence care. Instructs and supervises wound and ostomy care. Demonstrates proficiency in delivering and supervising care to assigned age-specific patient population (i.e., infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics), and participates in related continuing education.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Within 1 year of hire Board Certified WOCN or WCC and OMS
• 1 year Experience in medical/surgical nursing.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Nursing
• Wound and ostomy care experience.
