Part-Time, Onsite, School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) Opening Near Macon, MS

A school in the Macon, Mississippiarea is looking to find apart-time, onsite, school-basedOccupational Therapist (OT) for the full 2024-2025 school year. We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgable candidatewho wants to work with kids of all levels and satisfies the requirements listed below:

Position Details:

• August 2024 - May 2025
• Part-time / 25 hours per week, max
• Specific caseload details will be discussed during the interview process
• Pay Range: $30 - $45 per hour, depending on previous experience

Daily Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' fine motor skills, sensory integration, visual-motor coordination, self-care abilities, and functional performance.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, setting goals and objectives that address students' specific needs.
• Provide individual and group occupational therapy sessions to students, implementing evidence-based interventions to improve their functional abilities.

Requirements:

• Must have an active Mississippi OT License
• Must have Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Must be licensed through the Mississippi Board
