Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Environmental Technicianfor ourLab & Onsite Support Services (Lab/OSS) team. Youwill support our clients by managing their hazardous waste programs & projects, utilizing state & federal regulations. This is a labor-intensive role that requires a high-level of technical aptitude. Triumvirate provides leading institutions in the higher education, life sciences, healthcare, and industrial sectors with diverse services and advice to assist them with compliance management. This position reports to theProgram Manager. This role is onsiteat the client company in Worcester, MA. You will report out of our office inNewington, CT.

Essential responsibilities and duties include:

Technical:

• Maintain good attendance and punctuality
• Developing a strong working knowledge of computer software programs that support the operation
• AssistProgram Manageras requested
• Develop understanding of OSHA regulations as well as Triumvirate's Health and Safety practices
• Conduct safety equipment and hazardous waste inspections
• Perform and document Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) audits for clients

Hands-on:

• Handle chemicals and hazardous waste in small and large containers
• Willingness to wear a respirator for 2 to 6 hour per day

Customer Service:

• Provide clients with high-quality and professional customer service
• Professional attitude, high energy, and high-level communication skills required when dealing directly with client representatives

Required qualifications:

• Valid driver's license
• Clean driving record
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Basic knowledge of, or interest in, hazardous waste field
• Class C driver's licenseis a plus
• Self-motivated person with the desire to learn
• Successful completion of OSHA/DOT physical examination which includes drug and alcohol screening
• This is a Safety Sensitive Position
